QUEST Scholarships are awarded annually to interested and eligible students to study civil engineering in the United Kingdom. There are six annual QUEST awards, each with its purpose and entry requirements. Some of the award categories are currently open for applications.
QUEST helps with funding for civil engineers at all levels. Most importantly, it helps encourage new talent into the profession, who can go out and improve the world around them.
CATEGORIES OF QUEST AWARDS
1. SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Students are due to start the first year of a JBM-accredited full-time civil engineering degree course in the UK.
Up to £8,000 in value, plus early connections to potential employers.
2. TECHNICIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Students who are on or due to start further or higher education courses that could lead to becoming a professionally qualified ICE technician (EngTech)
Up to £1,000 in value, plus early connections to potential employers.
AWARD FOR ELOISE PLUNKETT
Newly professionally qualified female members (CEng, IEng, or EngTech) are based in the UK and undertaking a project abroad with a focus on civil engineering.
Up to £2,500 in value
4. AWARD FOR TRAVEL
Members (CEng, IEng, or EngTech – individuals or groups) with two years of membership traveling abroad for civil engineering-related projects or activities.

KENNETH WATSON TRAVEL AWARD No. 5
Student members (individuals or groups) in their first year of studying in the UK but who are traveling abroad to take part in civil engineering-related projects or activities

AWARD FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION
Graduates and professionally qualified members (CEng, IEng, or EngTech) with over two years of work experience are looking to start a course to support their professional qualifications and progress.
